Family Programs
Elmhurst Historical Museum is the ideal spot for an afternoon of affordable family fun! Join us in the Museum's Education Center (red brick building just south of the Glos Mansion) on Sunday Fundays and select school holidays throughout the school year. Programs are designed for children ages 4 to 12 accompanied by an adult. Nominal fees and no registration required. After the program, stop in the museum to see our exhibits. Admission is free. Sunday Funday: Schoolhouse Lunch Pails
1-3 p.m. $2 per project
Join in the fun at the first of our monthly series of Sunday afternoon family craft workshops. Children age 4 to12 accompanied by an adult will make an old-fashioned lunch pail like those used by schoolchildren at the Churchville Schoolhouse in the early 1900s. Looking for something fun for the whole family to do the day after Thanksgiving? Skip the shopping, round up the relatives, and bring on the holiday spirit by decorating a festive Gingerbread House.
